David Trevillion – Drums, strings, tech and theory

David has been involved with music since a very early age, trying out all kinds of instruments, finally settling on the drums in his early teens. He gained his first class honours degree from The Academy of Contemporary Music in 2008. He has been teaching privately and working in schools around the county since then.
He divides his creative time between his own electronic-pop group ‘Dead Ceremony’ and session work for other acts. He has had experience performing with live on national radio and TV. He played drums for ‘Tom Williams and the Boat’ for many years, who extensively toured the UK and Europe during a two album campaign.
David also plays guitar, bass and keyboards, he also works as engineer/producer. He is currently writing & producing a new dead ceremony e.p and remixing work for Virgin EMI and PIAS.

David teaches drums on Tuesdays and Sundays, and guitar on Mondays. He also runs our school bands and is head of music services (organising our teachers in primary and secondary schools). Lessons with David can also cover music theory and music tech/sound production.

“I really enjoy going to TW Music School for drum lessons as I can play along to my favourite songs each lesson. As well as this, the teachers are friendly and make learning to play the drums fun” – Tabitha (student)
