Claire has consistently proved herself to be an exciting and dynamic performer who refuses be shoehorned into any musical genre.
An early love of musical theatre and classical music led her to complete a BA in music. During this time she expanded her interests into jazz and popular styles. Since then she has developed into an experienced and professional gigging musician, performing regularly with many different ensembles including big bands, jazz groups, function bands, folk groups and classical ensembles, delighting and entertaining audiences with her genuine charm and skilful vocal delivery. She has been fortunate to perform in several high profile events including; the sounds new contemporary music festival; Canterbury music festival; live performances on Spanish TV; the NCBF festival and the rhythms of the world festival.
Claire is a founding member of the Sandfyre Music musicians collective, a company providing high quality bands for over 100 events a year. Recently she has been working more as a session singer recording backing vocals for several bands and even the first recording of a band new musical.
Claire also uses her musical skills in an educational setting she has worked as a singing and music teacher for four years various settings, helping children and young people to unleash their creative potential. Claire takes great pride in her students achievements, several have gone on to take part in west end shows and television and currently she has 100% Merit and Distinction pass rate across the Rock School, LCM, and Trinity exam boards.
